All-district football picks next week

Southeast Texas was well-represented when the All-District teams were announced following the end of the football campaigns.

Jasper and Kirbyville placed many players on the District 21-3A all-district squads while Buna dominated the District 24-2A all-district squad.

Newton and Woodville also placed many members on the District 23-2A squads including Newton's Curtis Barbay being named coach of the year.

All the local districts and teams will be spotlighted in The Jasper Newsboy's Dec. 26 edition.
