Grand Jury indicts 12

The Jasper County Grand Jury met Dec. 18 and indicted 12 people. Indictment does not mean these defendants are guilty, but that the Grand Jury found sufficient evidence to proceed with trial. Indicted were:

Jennelle L. Brooks, 27, of Wiergate; robbery.

Edwin D. Mays, 20, of Jasper; robbery and burglary of a building.

Raymond L. Brown, 20, of Jasper, burglary of a building.

Steven M. Parker, 17, of Jasper; burglary of a building.

Salvador Mendez Jr., 23, of Silsbee; burglary of a building X 2, aggravated sexual assault.

John Terry Grant, 27, of Jasper; possession of a controlled substance.

Linda B. Reynolds, 31, of Jasper; credit card abuse.

Daniel W. England, 23, of Brookeland; burglary of a habitation X 3.

Jim Lewis Sanders, 33, of Buna; evading arrest with a vehicle X 2.

Keith O. Denby, 38, of Milam; driving while intoxicated, third offense.

George G. Gray, 43, of Kirbyville; possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Larry W. Parrish, 38, of Buna; indecency with a child.
