Jewel Bryant Coffman Jewel Bryant Coffman, 70, a former resident of Jasper, passed away Monday, December 24, 2007 in Hondo, TX. Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Forest Oaks Chapel in Jasper, with Bro. Ross Chandler of First Baptist Church of Hondo officiating. Interment followed Thursday's services at Homer Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Forest Oaks. A native of Roganville, Tx. and a longtime resident of Jasper, she had lived in Hondo for the past two years where she was a member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and doting over her great-grandchildren. Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Coffman, Sr., by her son, Marcus W. Coffman, by her parents, Ollie J. Bryant & Lula Royals, and by her brothers Ollie M. Bryant and John Henry Bryant. Survivors include her son, John C. Coffman, Jr. & Tina Mosca of Lake Charles, LA., her daughter, Rebecca C. & Robert Byerly of Hondo, TX., her brother Clifton & Bertie Bryant of Jasper, TX., her sisters, Atrelle & E.C. Smith of Bronson, TX., and Rhae & Luke Pruitt of Jasper, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John "Berry" Coffman, Hope A. Moye, Dustin Moye, Christopher Moye, and David Benelli. And by her great-grandchildren, Gavin, Gage, Hanna, Haley, Payton, Kayla, & Dustin, and by her dear friend, Emmitt Beard of Hondo, TX.
