Hamilton to intern for Congressman

Rachel Hamilton, a 2003 graduate of Jasper High School and 2007 graduate of Texas A& M recently began an internship in Washington, D.C.Hamilton will spend the semester as part of Congressman Kevin Brady's legislative team.

She is one of 15 students selected for a policy internship through the Agricultural and Natural Resources Policy Internship Program at Texas A& M University. She will monitor legislation, attend committee hearings and briefings, prepare reports, and research and respond to requests.

Hamilton is the daughter of Jim and Pam Hamilton of Jasper.
