Dunn offers writing tips

The Sabine Neches Writers Guild holds a free monthly session every second Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the back of the Re/MAX office at 105 E. Houston in Jasper.

The informal sessions cover everything from writing techniques to the pitfalls of getting published.

"Want to" is the title of Alene Dunn's presentation tomorrow, Jan. 10, and it "emphasizes the need for planning, organization and discipline in the writing process." Dunn is working on an autobiography for her family and a book of short stories.
