Adult education opens for registration Jan. 9-11

Region 5 Adult Education will have spring registration for GED, Adult Basic Education, and Workplace Readiness Skills Jan. 9 - 11 at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The first day of class will be Jan. 14 at 8:30 a.m. Prospective students should be willing to make a commitment to attend class a minimum of 20 hours each week. A limited number of scholarships are available through Region 5 to help pay for the GED test.

Classes are free of charge. It is located in Jasper at 302 S. Wheeler next to First Insurance Services.
