Shop Jasper winner receives certificates

Vince Ann Taylor was the big winner in the Shop Jasper drawing sponsored by the Jasper Lake Sam Rayburn Area Chamber of Commerce, according to Amber Stroman of the chamber.

She will receive $500 in gift certificates to be spent at participating vendors. Merchants gave tickets for each $20 a customer spent during the holidays for the drawing that was held Monday, Jan. 7.

To spice it up this year, several merchants held additional drawings from those who entered at their location.

Golden Corral gave a coupon for a dinner to Pearl Oswell. AccuCare Quality Medical Products gave $15 gift cards to Clara Johnson, Joyce Kegler, Amanda Parker, John Martindale, Latashia Henry, Lisa George, Marie Lewis and Joyce Anderson.
