Pleas settle six cases

The following cases were settled by guilty pleas or waiver of indictment in District Judge Joe Bob Golden's court Jan. 3:

Larry W. Parrish, 38, of Buna, indecency with a child; plead guilty and received five years in TDCJ (Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice).

William M. Jackson Jr., 28, of Buna; waived indictment on distribution of a contolled substance and received six years in TDCJ.

Seth McNamara, 23, of Jasper; waived indictment on posession of a controlled substance and received two years state jail.

Thomas J. Richardson, 31, of Vidor, waived indictment on theft and received one year state jail.

Jermario Thomas, 20, of Jasper, waived indictment on distribution of a controlled substance and received one year state jail.

Brian Shoulders, 21, of Call, waived indictment on robbery and received three years in TDCJ.
