Jasper garbage pick-up

Garbage pick-up for Jan. 22 will be picked up today, today's will be picked up Jan. 24, Jan. 24 will be picked up Jan. 25, and Jan. 25 will stay the same.

Jasper's Walk of Hope

The Board of Directors of Jasper's Walk of Hope will hold a casual soup and salad dinner Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 329 N. Bowie in Jasper. There will be discussion about the walk itself, the rodeo parade and "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" night and the Relay for Life. RSVP to Susan Stover at 384-5455.

Ranch rodeo

The Jasper County Jr. Livestock Ranch Rodeo will be Jan. 26 at the arena on Hwy. 777 across from the airport. Entries must be paid by 1 p.m.; rodeo starts at 2 p.m. For more information, call Linda Powell at 489-2556.

Bulldog Bark

Projection Graduation's "Mr. Bulldog Bark" will be held Jan. 26 in the Jasper High School auditorium at 7 p.m. For more information, call Charla James, 384-7866.

Jackpot

A jackpot barrel race will be held Jan. 26 at the Jasper County Jr. Livestock Arena on Hwy. 77 starting at 9 a.m. Proceeds benefit the Coty Smith scholarship fund. Relay for Life will man the concession stand. For more information call Todd McDonald at 384-0643.

Jasper ISD parents

All parents of Jasper ISD students are invited to a dinner and mini-conference sessions Jan. 28 at Jasper High School with dinner at 5 p.m. There will be babysitting, entertainment and door prizes.

Miss Valentine Pageant

The Miss Valentine Pageant will be Feb. 9 at noon in the Newton Elementary Auditorium. Divisions include ages 0 - 18 years. Deadline for entry and fees is Feb. 1. Mardi Gras Banquet

Project Graduation

Jasper Project Graduation meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. in the Jasper High School Library. All seniors and parents need to attend to discuss fundraisers, the point system, and other information. For more information call Charla James at 384-7866.

Harvest Church at 1501 S. Wheeler now offers a food bank the first Tuesday of each month 9 - 11 a.m.
