Tri-County Community Action Inc. will hold a public meeting on Community Services Block Grant for the fiscal year 2008, Jan. 30 at 10 a.m., 205 E. Main St., in Kirbyville.

East Texas Art League

The East Texas Art League will have their sixth annual membership show opening Feb. 2 with a reception from 2 - 4 p.m. in the Arts Center, 364 N. Austin, in Jasper. The center is open Tues.-Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The show will run through March 5.

Jasper Retired Teachers

The Jasper Retired Teachers Association will meet Feb. 4 at 2:30 p.m. in the Christian Service Center of the Church of Christ. Kenneth Lyons will be the guest speaker.

Food bank

Harvest Church at 1501 S. Wheeler now offers a food bank the first Tuesday of each month 9 - 11 a.m.

Inmate Family Association

The next meeting of the Texas Inmate Family Association will be Feb. 5 at St. Jude Catholic Church in the Family Life Center at 6:30 p.m. A spokesperson from Project RIO will be present. For more information call 246- 8146.

Miss Valentine Pageant

The Miss Valentine Pageant will be Feb. 9 at noon in the Newton Elementary Auditorium. Divisions include ages 0 - 18 years. Deadline for entry and fees is Feb. 1. Mardi Gras Banquet

Project Graduation
