Byars celebrate 50th anniversary

Robert and Knoxivene Byars will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 14. They were married at the Methodist Church in Kirbyville and still reside in Kirbyville.

Their children are Mitzi Byars Bolling of St. Petersburg, FL, Robert Byars Jr. of Hemphill, Richard Byars of Plantersville, Patty Byars of Bagdad, Iraq, Allen Byars of Magnolia, and Rocky Byars of Sisbee; along with 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Their children will give a 50th anniversary reception at their home, 2 miles down Bon Ami Rd. in Kirbyville, Feb. 9 at 2 p.m.
