Greater New Bethel celebrates month of Black History programs The Greater New Bethel Baptist Church has full schedule of weekly activities to celebrate Black History month. Each Sunday during 11 a.m. worship, a motivational speaker will explore the theme, "Bridging the Gap by Reclaiming our Heritage and Legacy." Speakers are: Feb. 3, Mervin Cleveland Jr/, son of Mervin and Hessie Cleveland; Feb.10, Catrina Armstrong Scott, granddaughter of Mrs. Oletha Woods; Feb.17, Patrina Tyler Alderson, daughter of Mrs. Paula Tyler and the late Rev. Raymond Tyler; Feb. 24. Mrs. Rosalind Hodge Jackson, daughter of Mrs. Sadie Mae Hodge. Feb. 17 is African Dress Day, and Feb. 24 will feature the "Soul Food Kitchen" where traditional ethnic food will be served. Feb. 17, Black History will be celebrated with prose, poetry, drama and music, and the Greater New Bethel Black Achiever of the year will be presented. Rev. Dr. Kenneth O.
