KJB planning 2008 cleanups

Keep Jasper Beautiful, the anti-litter organization, is moving its monthly meetings to the Belle Jim Hotel for breakfast at 8:15 a.m. every first Tuesday of the month, according to coordinator Patty Shaw.

At the next meeting, Feb. 5, the group will plan recycling efforts for the year.

KJB sponsors the recylcing trailers that are stationed at the Community Church parking lot on South Wheeler the third weekend every month.

They also hold trash cleanups and help with beautification projects throughout the county. For more information, call Shaw at 594-4209.
