Anne L. Cooley

Anne L. Cooley, age 83 of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 21, 2008 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. She was born January 5, 1925 in Dallas, Texas to the late Edward G. and Ellen Keene (Woodward) Alexander.

Mrs. Cooley married Frank H. Cooley June 6, 1952 in Dallas, Texas. She was a retired homemaker and a member of the Mountain Home Baptist Church. She was a lifelong supporter of Foreign Mission work of the Southern Baptist Convention.

The beloved Mrs. Cooley is survived by her husband: Dr. Frank H. Cooley of the home, two daughters: Cae Gauntt and husband Edward of Graben-Neudorf, Germany and Virginia Clark and husband Stephen of Reston, Virginia, a sister: Virginia Wilson and husband Stacey of Santa Fe, New Mexico and four grandchildren: Cate, Alex, Brian and Luke. She was preceded in death by a brother: Bob Alexander.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Mountain Home Baptist Church with Reverend Tommy Cunningham officiating, with interment following in Bosqueville Cemetery near Waco, Texas.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lottie Moon Christmas Offering supporting international missions.
