Black personalities

At Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, Black History personalities are scheduled for Feb. at 11 a.m., with special guests each Sunday following the theme Look Where the Lord Has Brought Us. Feb. 10 is Channing Gilbert, junior at Lamar University; Feb. 17 is Kimberly Brooks from Prairie View University; Feb. 25 a special session followed by a 3 p.m. climax with Oveal Walker and the Mount Calvary Baptist Church of Beaumont; dinner will be served. Mt. Olive Revival Institute

Gospel Night

Greater New Bethel Baptist Church has scheduled several black history programs at 11 a.m. Feb. 10 guest is Catrina Armstrong Scott; Feb. 17 is Patrina Tyler Aderson and will also be African Dress Day; Feb. 24 is Rosalind Hodge Jackson and will also feture the Soul Food Kitchen.

Lake Rayburn Methodist

Lake Rayburn United Methodist Church, 349 Hwy. 1007 in Sam Rayburn, services have been re-scheduled for 10 a.m. starting Feb. 10 and will continue on a trial basis.

Lenten program

Dinnner dance
