County sets Friday agenda

The Jasper County Commissioners' Court will meet Friday, Feb. 8, at 9 a.m. instead of the usual Monday meeting so that the court can attend a training session in Austin.

On the agenda are action items to review TxDOT aviation grants, a new subdivision project in Buna, the road use agreement with Sherbino 1 Wind Farm, and David Waxman addressing the court on the round two ORCA grant funding.

Sam Rayburn Marina will also request the court authorize state and local law enforcement agencies to enforce safety measure under the Texas Water Safety Act.
