William T. "Bill" Moye

William T. "Bill" Moye, 82, of Jasper, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 3, 2008 at his home. A native of Polk County, TX, he was a lifelong Jasper resident and had retired as a welder after 55 years from the Pipeline Local 798 in Tulsa, OK. Bill was loved by everyone who knew him. He loved his family, his church, and his fishing.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Jasper with burial to follow at West Oaks Cemetery under the direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home of Jasper. Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Forest Oaks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, D.W. and Dora Dickens Moye, by his twin brother, Dewitt Moye and by his brotherin law, Calvin Oates.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Willodean Moye of Jasper; sons, Grant Moye and wife Terri of Sour Lake, TX, and Bradley Moye of Lake Charles, LA; sister, Emo Jean Oates of Jasper; along with 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed toward Hillcrest Baptist Church, RT 7 Box 137, Jasper, TX 75951
