Relay for Life

The all-night Relay for Life Jasper/Lakes Area will hold a team captain meeting Feb. 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the Belle-Jim Hotel. Ideas and questions will be shared for the allnight event, April 25-26, around the courthouse square in Jasper. For more information call Sandy Flores at 384-8196.

Political forums

The Democrat Club has scheduled debates at 7 p.m. in the Jasper County district courtroom, Feb. 14, and at the Buna Sub-Courthouse Feb. 19. The Kirbyville Women's Civic Club and Lions Club have set a non-partisan chili supper and forum for Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. at Kirbyville Elementary School cafeteria at FM 86 and U.S. Hwy 96.

ETHAN's HearThrob Cafe

Community Nurse Fair

A free Community Nurse Fair will be held Feb. 16 from 12 - 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Park Central, 2929 Jimmy Johnson Blvd. in Port Arthur. It will address nurse recruitment, education, jobs and healthy nurse options. For more information call 983- 6435.

Mardi Gras Banquet

Art workshop
