Mennonites speak at Newton lunch

The Newton Lions Club will meet Feb. 7 at the First Bapitst Church, lunch will be served. Guest speaker will be Gil Friesen of the Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS).

For the third year in a row the MDS is in East Texas repairing and replacing homes devastated by Hurricane Rita. Friesen will discuss some of the current projects using a multimedia presentation.
