Magnolia welcomes new pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church

Will Byerly, a 2003 Jasper High School graduate, has accepted the position as pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church in Magnolia Springs. His ordination will be Feb. 23.

Byerly said he began as a youth minister at a little church in Burnet three years ago, and moved back to Jasper six months ago, where he served at Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Byerly brought with him his wife Tiffany and 11-month-old daughter, Katelynn. He met his wife, who is from Cedar Fork, while at the church in Burnet.

His new church is the little red brick church next to the Methodist Church in Magnolia Springs.

"We've got lots of big dreams for this ministry," Byerly said.

Services are Sundays at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
