Moak to share experiences publishing children's book

The montly meeting of the Sabine Neches Writers Guild will be held Feb. 14 in the meeting room of the RE/MAX Millennium real estate office on the corner of Main and Houston St. in Jasper at 6:30 p.m.

The program features Katie Moak of Kirbyville who published a children's book Napoleon and the Hurricane. A reception will follow the presentation.

Membership is free and writing is not a requirement to join. The writer's guild meets the second Thursday each month. A spin-off from the group is a story-tellers group, The Big Thicket Story Circle, which will hold its first meeting March 11 at the Tyler County Art Gallery from 7 - 8:30 p.m.
