Students of the week
"Robin never comes to class without a smile and a positive attitude," said teacher Phillys Morian. "She is polite and thoughtful to fellow classmates and me, and she always givers her best effort. If she misses class, she is prompt in completing her makeup work. I am delight to nomintae Robin as student of the week." Renfro is a member of the Jr. High Leo Club and student council. She enjoys cheering, playing volleyball, and talking on the phone. Her favorite subject is math. She is the daughter of Eric and Kay Lane. Jasper High School Chris Guadian, a senior of Jasper High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of Feb. 18 - 22. "Christopher is a very good student and a hard worker," said teacher Mike Gerard. "He volunteers to do the hardest jobs in class and completes his entire task."
Rowe Intermediate School Brent Fowler, a fifth grade student of Rowe, has been selected as student of the week for the week of Feb. 18 - 22. "Brent shows exceptional ability in science, picking up on abstract concepts easily. I can always count on him to do what is right and to be focused on the lesson, despite what is going on around him," said teacher Linda O'Brien. "Brent is the kind of student that keeps teachers going through hard times." He likes to play football and video games. Fowler likes math and science because these subjects help him to gain more knowledge.
Fowler is the son of Kim and Scott Fowler.
