Horn named interim engineer for Jasper

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced last week that Keith Horn, P.E. has been appointed interim area engineer for the Jasper area.

Horn, who has been working for TxDOT since 1987, will be responsible for state-related transportation projects in Jasper, Newton and Tyler counties.

Horn has worked on the widening of U.S. Hwy. 96 and various bridge replacements and highway resurfacing projects.

He and his wife Marlo have two sons, Michael and Joshua. Horn currently is vice president of the Jasper Youth Baseball and Softball Association and is a member of Tanglewood Baptist Church.
