Couple Plan July Wedding

William Taylor Thomas and Ashley Nichole DuCharme

Mr. and Mrs. Tony DuCharme of Mauriceville, Texas would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Nichole DuCharme to William Taylor Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Thomas of Orange, Texas. The wedding is planned for July 5, 2008 at MacArthur Heights Baptist Church in Orange with the reception to follow at Mauriceville Assembly of God.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene DuCharme of Vinton, Louisiana, Mr. and Mrs. Carol Spell of Sulphur, Louisiana, and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wagstaff of Jasper, Texas and the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Henryetta Bowers of Welch, Louisiana and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Latiolais of Newton, Texas. A 2008 senior at Little Cypress Mauriceville High School, she will attend Lamar University in the fall, where she will pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She is employed at Asher Luis in Orange.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Ms. Ruth Thomas and Mr. and Mrs. Gaylon Williams both of Kountze and the great grandson of Ms. Bessie Brown of Orange, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar White of Thicket, Texas and Ms. Pauline Williams of Kountze, Texas. A 2008 senior at Little Cypress Mauriceville High School, he will attend Lamar University in the fall, where he will pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is employed at Market Basket in Orange.
