Students of the Week
Leonard Hatch, a senior of Jasper High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of March 3 - 7. "Leonard always puts forth 100 percent effort. He never minds helping other students that might not be grasping a particular concept in our class. Leonard recently earned a perfect score on a test, which none of my other 54 students has accomplished," said teacher Wesley Lee. "He is very bright young man with a very promising future. I believe that Leonard not only represents the class of 2008 well but also JHS as whole, and for this, he has earned this recognition." Hatch is the son of Carolyn Hatch. Jasper Junior High School Emily Thomas, a seventh grade student of Jasper Junior High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of March 3 - 7. "Emily is a sweet person and an excellent student. She is very conscientious about getting her work done on time and correctly," said teacher Becky Wilson. "She has a positive attitude about school, never complains about assignments, and she gets along well with teachers as well as her classmates. Emily is a great role model for her peers."
Thomas is the daughter of John and Holly Thomas. Rowe Intermediate Keelan Traylor, a fifth grade student of Rowe Intermediate, has been selected as student of the week for the week of March 3 - 7. He puts everything he has into his school work and works well with all his classmates," said teacher Linda O'Brien. He enjoys all sports, but likes football and basketball. His favorite subject is math.
