Neil Simon's Come Blow Your Home performances coming in April

Neil Simon's Come Blow Your Home will star Jasper's Dr. Willie Williamson and Allen Andrews as the Baker brothers, in a coming-of-age comedy.

Liz Connell and Mary Ann McCoy are co-directors of the third play of the season for the Jasper Community Theater.

Connell announced the rest of the cast: Shelby Stroman and newcomer Christine Jackson both protray young "flings" of older brother Allen Baker.

Jimmy Powers stars as the old-fashioned father, Buddy Baker, and the mother is played by Becki Mayhar.

"This is a comedy in the typical Simon Style," Connell said, "Come prepared to laugh."

Performances at the Violet Tonahill Theater on Hwy 96 South will be April 10-12 and April 17-18 at 7 p.m., and a matinee April 19 at 2 p.m. Tickets will be on sale in April at Shy-Bee Lighting and the Jasper Music Company.
