Jasper falls from state title chase

      After a third place district finish, the Jasper Lady Bulldog soccer team lost 6-0 to Whitehouse (Tyler) in the first round of playoffs Thursday, March 20. Jasper finished the regular season with a 12-4 district record and 15-6 on the year. It was their best-ever showing.

Bailey, Spikes earn honors for Jasper

      Sophomore Dominique Bailey and junior Kwame Spikes were selected to the District 21-3A All-District basketball team by coaches in the district. Bailey has also been selected to play on the Reebock Elite AAU team this summer, sponsored by Rashard Lewis of the Orlando Magic.
