Betty Ann Morgan

Betty Ann Morgan, 61, of Lake Sam Rayburn, passed away, Friday, March 21, 2008, after courageously fighting leukemia.

Funeral service were held Monday, March 24, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Reverend Bailey Harris of Old First Orange Baptist Church officiated, with interment at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Betty was born September 7, 1946, in Gilmer, TX.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Bassham, mother, Dean Moody Thornton and son, Keith Morgan.

She is survived by her husband Arlo Morgan of Lake Sam Rayburn; mother in law, Mildred Morgan of Orange; daughter and son in law, Sheryl and James "Bubba" Parker of Orange; granddaughters, Heather and Hannah Parker and brother, Jerry Bassham of Dickinson, TX.
