Lady Dawgs fall to Kirbyville 10-3

      Jasper Lady Bulldog softball team lost 10-3 to Kirbyville Friday night and are still looking for their first district win. The teams were tied until the fifth inning when "the wheels came off", Coach Nancy Walker said. Jasper got all three runs in the first inning.

Jasper varsity girls earn honors on soccer field

      Freshman Haley Shipman has been selected as Offensive Player of the Year by the District 18-4A girls soccer coaches. In addition, three Jasper players were named First Team All-District, three to the Second Team and Coach Ron Vickers was selected Coach of the Year.

Jasper brings home three first places at Colmesneil Relays

      The Jasper Lady Bulldog track team brought home three first place wins, five seconds and two thirds from the Colmesneil Relays, March 15. "Almost all of the girls improved on their times in running or their distances in jumping and throwing," Coach Charles King said.
