Scholastic honors

Liberty University

The following Liberty University students have been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2007 semester: Jessica Holcombe of Brookeland; Eddie Brown, Fermin Gonzalez, Adam Pickle, David Pickle and William Williford; all five of Jasper.

To receive Dean's List recognition, full-time students must earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a four-point scale.

Laura Ann Townsend

Laura Ann Townsend of Jasper has been recognized on the Dean's Honor Roll and as a "Distinguished Student" at Texas A&M University at College Station.

Townsend is a junior this year and working towards a bachelor of science in biochemistry.

Carol MacLeod

Carol MacLeod of Brookeland has graduated from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, UT with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies.
