Early voting begins in Jasper, Newton counties for runoff elections

Early voting in the runoff elections has begun in Jasper and Newton counties.

Early voting in the Jasper courthouse annex runs Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through April 4.

The Kirbyville subcourthouse, Buna subcourthouse and Evadale fire station will be open for early voting April 2-4, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Election day is Tuesday, April 8, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In Newton county, early voting is open at the county clerk's office at 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. through April 4, and at the Deweyville Community Center 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. April 2.
