Julie Subervielle

Julie Suberbielle was born Julia May Moffett on the 4th of January 1916, to Sue May and Thomas Otho Moffett in Laurel, Mississippi. She passed away on the 22nd of March 2008.

She attended South Park High School and South Park Junior College in Beaumont, Texas on a debate scholarship. In 1939 she married James Edward Suberbielle and resided in Houston for a number of years, later moving her family to Jasper, Texas, until returning to Houston in 2000.

She is survived by her daughters, Amelie Cobb, Suzanne Paulea and husband Bill; sons, Jay and wife Brenda, Thomas and wife Susan, John and wife Shannon; nineteen grandchildren; fifty-six great grandchildren.

A memorial service were held on Friday, the 28th of March, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
