Ruben Parker, Jr.

Graveside memorial services for Ruben C. "Junior" Parker, Jr., 64. of Jasper will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Weeks Chapel Cemetery.

Junior died Friday, March 28, 2008 at VA Medical Center in Shreveport. A native of Sabine County and lifelong resident of Jasper. He was employed by Kamtech-Kaverner and other companies in Construction for many years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survived by his wife Marjorie Segrest Parker of Jasper; two daughters Ryne Smith of Vidor and Wendy Jackson of Call; step son Joe Miller of Lufkin, brother Raymond Parker of Jasper; two sisters Betty Mays and Brenda Oliver both of Jasper; four grandchildren John Thomas Smith, Sydney Smith, Amy Jackson and Jayme Jackson.

Memorials may be made to the Lufkin State School.
