JHS golf squad takes second

The JHS girls golf team won another second place finish last week at the Hudson tournament. They were second out of seven teams.

Nicole Hamilton led the team. She finished third overall out of a field of about 50 players.

Other team members included Jessica Bowling, Sarah Smith, Lauren Truett, and Morgan Marshall.

The district meet is this week at Wildwood.

Coach Troy Carpenter said he has two teams competing at district.

"The Hudson meet consisted of next year's district opponents," he said. "We are very excited about things to come."
