Kimberly Parker

Kimberly Parker, a sixth grade student of Rowe Intermediate, has been selected as student of the week for the week of April 14 - 18.

"Kim is wonderful as a student. She is mature and responsible," said teacher Sally Wegner. "She believes in doing her work and helping others, so that all students can achieve their goals."

Parker likes to ride horses and cheer. Math is her favorite subject because she likes to think and solve problems.

Parker is the daughter of Shasta and Reggie Parker.

 

Jasper High School

Isaac Grindstaff

Isaac Grindstaff, a senior of Jasper High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of April 14 - 18.

"Isaac is a great student and athlete. He works hard in the classroom and is in the top five in his class. He also was on the football team this fall and was a starting defensive player on the soccer team," said Coach Chris Coats.

"He came to practice every day with a great attitude, and he gives 100 percent at all times. I have never heard a negative word come out of his mouth. He is a perfect example of a student athlete."

Grindstaff is the son of Alan and Vickie Grindstaff.

Jasper Junior High

LaCarrie David

LaCarrie David, a seventh grade student of Jasper Junior High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of April 14-18.

"LaCarrie is a pleasure to teach. She is always willing to start a new project and works very hard," said teacher Deborrah Simmons. "She does her very best on every project and is always helpful."

LaCarrie enjoys riding horses and drawing during her spare time. Her favorite subject is English.

She is the daughter of Amy Holmes and Thomas David.
