Walkers sees stronger season ahead for young Jasper squad

      The Jasper Lady Bulldog softball team ended their season Friday night without a district win; however, Coach Nancy Walker says her group should be stronger next year. Jasper was a young team this season, a team made up primarily of younger girls with little experience.

Dawgs turn back Silsbee for big win

      The Jasper Bulldogs did what they had to do Friday night- beat Silsbee for the third place spot in District 21-3A. After Tuesday night's 11-1 loss to Hardin-Jefferson, the 'Dogs dropped into a third place tie with the Tigers, both with an 8-4 district record.
