Students of the week
Jasper High School Nicole Spiller, a senior of Jasper High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of April 21 - 25. "Nicole is committed to achieving her goals and to Jasper High School," said teacher Martha Morian. "She is a dedicated student who strives to continually better herself. She is also a great role model for underclassmen to look up to." Spiller is the daughter of Nichole and Troy Spiller. Hennington Jasper Junior High School Nykista Hennington, an eighth grade student of Jasper Junior High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of April 21-25. "Nykista is a great student to have in art class. She works very hard to complete assignments and is always helpful to me," said teacher Deborrah Simmons. "I can always count on Nykista to set an example for the rest of the class." Nykista participates in sports, listens to music and hangs out with her friends. Her favorite subject is reading.
Wysinger Rowe Intermediate Jessica Wysinger, a fifth grade student of Rowe Intermediate, has been selected as student of the week for the week of April 21 - 25. "She is always smiling and friendly. She is very quick to ask questions when she doesn't understand something fully," said teacher Crystal Harrison." She always strives to do better." She loves cheerleading and plays softball. Science is her favorite subject because she gets to do labs.
Wysinger is the daughter of Karen Von Rosa and Jessie Lee Wysinger.
