EJSG small grants offered

Grants are available to groups working on solutions to local environmental and public health issues from the EPA and its Environmental Justice Small Grants (EJSG) program. Nonprofit organizations, cities, counties and federally recognized tribes can apply up to June 30.

The EJSG program is provides funding for eligible applicants working on projects that address local enviornmental and public health issues.

Projects should increase understanding and identify ways to address these issues at the local level, and educate and empower the community. Grant recipients can receive up to $20,000; Shirley Quinones, 214-665-2713.
