Barbara Ann Jones Shivers

Funeral services for Barbara Ann Jones Shivers, 56, of Roganville were held Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, with burial following at Prairie Grove Cemetery near Diboll, Texas.

Barbara died April 18, 2008 at her residence in Roganville. A former resident of Vidor, she lived in Roganville the past 26 years and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of over 40 years, Pete Shivers, two sons, William Allan Shivers of Vidor and Lynn Franklin Shivers of Kirbyville, one daughter, Tonya Marie Butler of Kirbyville, four brothers, Edward Jones of Mauriceville, James Jones of Dayton, Bobby Jones of Center, Johnny Paul Jones of Pineland, Willie Jones of Center and two sisters, Wanda Mote of Dallas and Linda Howell of Frankston and eight grandchildren.
