Students of the week
Briana Hector, a senior, has been selected student of the week for April 28 - May 2. "Briana has been a very active member of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). She has participated in many fundraisers and activities," said teacher Kristin Franz. "Also, she participated at the regional and state level STAR events." Hector is the daughter of Beverly and Mack Bean. Jasper Junior High Tyler Bolton, an eighth grade student of Jasper Junior High School, has been selected as student of the week for the week of April 28-May 2. "Tyler serves as an office aide during fourth period. He has a wonderful attitude and is always eager to work," said secretary Latina Jackson. "He is a talented athlete and is well liked by his peers and teachers alike. Tyler more than deserves this honor." Bolton enjoys playing both basketball and football during his spare time. His favorite subject is US History. He is the son of Joey Bolton and Teresa Salamone.
Christopher Marie, a fifth grade student, has been selected as student of the week for April 28 - May 2. "He is always working and quiet," said Shelia Guillory. "He is also respectful of others. He had one of the highest averages of all my students." Chris likes building models and playing baseball. His favorite subject is science.
He is the son of Diana Marie.
