ETHAN, WTXJ holding radio-a-thon

ETHAN, the East Texas Health Access Network, is trying to save staff positions and programs that are in danger because of federal budget cuts.

KTXJ-FM Radio Station will hold a radioa thon to raise funds for this non-profit organization that serves health needs of residents of East Texas and West Louisiana, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. May 2, and 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. May 3, at 102.7, broadcast live from Jasper.

Brookshire Bros. will participate in 15 stores located in Jasper, Newton, Hemphill, Woodville, Kirbyville, Lufkin, Diboll, Huntington, Nacogdoches and San Augustine, and in Many and Deridder, LA.

To pledge a donation, send an email containing your name, mailing address and telephone number to ethan@ethannetwork. org and a pldege card will be mailed, otherwise call or stop by the radio station or the ETHAN office at 117 W. Houston in Jasper.
