Kendrick Shaw and Kanika Adams of Jasper announce the birth of their son, Kendrick Demond, born April 16 at 8:05 a.m. at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds.

Grandparents are Palace Moye, Deborah and Thomas Hunter, and Micheal Adams.

Great-grandparents are Leon Adams and Norma Shaw.
