Surviving TAKS
JASPER HIGH SCHOOL FRESHMAN ended a six-week "survivor" themed math TAKS competition with a celebration and awards ceremony for the TAKS-winning tribe Friday in the school cafeteria. Since spring break, all freshman Algebra I classes spent each week competing in "tribes" in a series of math contests and immunity challenges based on TAKS objectives.
