Douglas Stewart

Douglas Stewart, 73, of Orange, passed away May 1, 2008 at his home. Anative of Jasper County, and a longtime resident of Orange, he had retired as a foreman for the plastics division of James River after 30 years of service. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of McDonald Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper with interment to follow at Little Hope Cemetery in Beech Grove. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until service time Monday at Forest Oaks

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Mary Childs Stewart of Orange, TX; daughter, Angie Stewart of Orange, TX; brother, Bill Stewart of Jasper, TX; sisters, Olene Harris of Jasper, TX, Anita Black of Shreveport, LA; Evelyn Stott of Jasper, TX; Geraldine Solberg of Pt. Neches, TX, Patsy Davis of Groves, TX, and Gay Folsom of Jasper, TX; along with 2 grandchildren, Tolivar and Rylie.
