Jean Evelyn Jackson

Graveside services for Jean Evelyn Jackson, 58, were held Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches, Texas. Dr. Allen Richmond officiated.

Mrs. Jackson passed away in her home on Monday, May 5, 2008 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Mrs. Jackson was born February 21, 1950 in Kirbyville, Texas to C. V. and Alice Sanford.

She loved her granddaughter Hannah very much. She loved art, music, plays, working for S.F.A. honors department and the students that were involved with it.

She is survived by her son, Brent Lee Jackson of Crockett, TX; granddaughter, Hannah Nicole Jackson of Lovelady, TX; a special friend that she loved as a daughter, Alicia McKenney of Lovelady, TX; her mother, Alice Peters of Jacksonville, TX; sisters, Terrie Blankenship of Jacksonville, TX, and Susan Husbands of Jacksonville, TX; brother, Jimmy Ford Sanford of Jacksonville, TX; best friend, Linda Sue and numerous friends and family.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Jackson, father, C.V. Sanford, grandparents, Bessie and Van Marshall.

Pallbearers will be David Yancey, Brent Jackson, Larry E. Beard, Travis McKenney, and Johnny Currie. Honorary pallbearers will be The Honor Students of S.F.A.
